Volunteering with Peyton FPD
Peyton Fire Protection District has a long tradition of service built upon the dedication of volunteers who have answered the call to serve their community. Since the District’s formation, volunteers have played a critical role in supporting emergency response operations, community outreach, training, administrative functions, and other essential services.
Today, volunteer members continue to be an important part of the District’s ability to provide emergency services throughout our community. Their commitment, professionalism, and willingness to serve help strengthen the District’s mission of protecting lives, property, and the environment.
Volunteering with a fire protection district requires dedication, teamwork, and a commitment to ongoing training and personal development. Opportunities may include operational emergency response positions, support services, community outreach, administrative assistance, and other volunteer roles as determined by the needs of the District.
The District is currently reviewing and updating volunteer program requirements, policies, and application procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and District standards.
Additional information regarding volunteer opportunities, position requirements, training expectations, and application procedures will be posted as it becomes available.
We appreciate the continued support of our volunteers, community members, and partners who help make emergency services possible throughout the Peyton community.
